Want to make a difference in the community?
United Way is looking to hire six additional AmeriCorps Fellows for our VIP and CalPREP programs!
As an AmeriCorps Fellow, you will use your passion and talents to help the local community. Plus, you’ll earn money for education, learn leadership skills, and gain real job experience in the nonprofit and/or public sector. Starting in September, Americorps VIP Fellows will serve an eleven month service term where they will build the volunteer infrastructure of Inland Empire United Way’s volunteer programs. AmeriCorps CalPREP Fellows will help build and grow a mentoring program at local high schools within the Fontana Unified School District. AmeriCorps Fellows receive a student loan deferment, a modest living allowance, health benefits, and training. Upon completion of the term of service, AmeriCorps Fellows receive an educational award that can be used for future school or to repay student loans.
