UCR grads are making headlines again. A record setting 50 UCR grads have committed to serving the City Year Program that puts volunteers in school across the country to help students stay in school and graduate.
“I felt as though City Year’s mission to reduce the high school dropout rate, is right along my lifetime goal to impact and illiteracy in urban impoverished areas,” she said. “So, I knew serving was right for me.” – Cortni Thomas, class of 2013 UCR Today
Congratulations to the UCR grads who’ve committed to making a difference!
