For those who don’t know March is National Women’s Month and UCR will be hosting several events throughout the week of March 4-8 honoring women.
We hope you can make it to campus and participate in great free events like talks, luncheons, and poetry readings.

Our Lives as Women’s Studies Students
Learn from current and past students how majoring in Women’s Studies has affected their lives, perspectives, experiences, and sexualities.
Time: 4 – 5 pm Tuesday, March 5

Hon. Raquel Marquez-Britsch – 1st Latina judge in Riverside & San Bernardino Counties
Be inspired by Judge Marquez-Britsch as Keynote Speaker for the 5th Annual Celebration for a Day of Appreciation and Recognition of Women Students, honoring six award-winning UCR achievers.

Poetry Slam: Women’s Lives Through Herstory
Honor women’s journey through herstory, show appreciation through creativity, and empower fellow students.
