The UCR Alumni Association’s inaugural Women’s Professional Conference was held on May 21, 2016 in the HUB on UCR’s campus. We had 152 attendees, including UCR alumni, UCR students, staff, faculty and community members, who listened to a total of 18 speakers throughout the day. The speakers focused on topics that all people find challenging in the workplace.
Keynotes presented on:
- Dr. Moses – Diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Dr. Clute – Math4U – Empowerment through math
Breakout session topics included:
- Salary negotiation
- Do’s and don’ts of social media
- Time management
- Graduate school
- Financial management
